'You know' is one of the most common American verbal fillers. It can seek agreement ('It's tough, you know?'), add emphasis ('He's, you know, really talented'), or simply fill space while the speaker thinks. While technically asking 'do you know?', it rarely expects an answer. It creates a sense of shared understanding.

'You know' es una de las muletillas más comunes en el habla estadounidense. Puede buscar acuerdo ('It's tough, you know?'), añadir énfasis ('He's, you know, really talented') o simplemente rellenar el espacio mientras el hablante piensa. Aunque técnicamente pregunta '¿sabes?', rara vez espera respuesta. Crea una sensación de entendimiento compartido.
동의를 구하거나('It's tough, you know?'), 강조를 더하거나('He's, you know, really talented'), 화자가 생각하는 동안 빈자리를 채우는 역할을 한다.
