Superfood
Meaning: A food marketed as exceptionally nutrient-dense and beneficial for health.
A marketing term rather than a scientific one. Acai, quinoa, kale, turmeric, chia seeds — each year brings new superfoods. While these foods are nutritious, the 'superfood' label is marketing hype. No single food is a magic bullet.
