Square up
Meaning: To prepare to fight. To put your fists up and get ready for a physical confrontation.
Square up is a direct challenge — it tells someone to get into a fighting stance. The phrase comes from the boxing stance where fighters 'square' their shoulders. While it can be a genuine fight challenge, it's also used humorously online for trivial disagreements, like debating which fast food restaurant is better.
