Soccer mom
Meaning: A suburban middle-class mother who spends much of her time driving her children to activities like soccer practice.
Soccer mom is a cultural stereotype of a busy suburban American mother — usually white, middle-class, driving a minivan or SUV, shuttling kids between activities. It can be used neutrally or with a slightly condescending tone, implying someone who is wholesome but conventional. In politics, 'soccer moms' became an important voting demographic.
