Ship
Meaning: To endorse or root for a romantic pairing, whether real or fictional; short for 'relationship.'
When you 'ship' two people, you want them to get together romantically. Originally from fan fiction communities where fans would imagine their favorite characters in relationships, the term has expanded to real-life couples. You can ship your friends, celebrities, or fictional characters. The noun form refers to the pairing itself ('they're my favorite ship').
