First world problems
Meaning: Minor inconveniences or complaints that seem trivial compared to serious global issues.
First world problems is used self-awarely to acknowledge that your complaint is petty in the grand scheme of things. Slow Wi-Fi, a broken phone charger, or your favorite restaurant being closed — these are first world problems. The phrase functions as both a joke and a reality check.
