Finer than frog's hair
Meaning: Doing very well; feeling great. Also used to describe something very thin or delicate.
Since frogs don't have hair, 'finer than frog's hair' is absurdly fine — it's a humorous way to say you're doing excellent. It's typically used as a response to 'How are you?' and is a quintessential example of Southern humor through exaggeration and absurdity.

Origin & History
An American expression dating to at least the 1860s. The humor lies in the impossibility — frogs have no hair, so frog's hair would be infinitely fine. Some versions add 'split four ways' for extra emphasis on how fine things are.
