Core memory
Meaning: A significant, deeply meaningful moment that you'll remember forever — a memory that defines part of who you are.
Borrowed from Pixar's 'Inside Out' (where core memories are the most important memories that shape personality), Gen Z uses 'core memory' to describe moments that feel significant as they happen. It can be sweet ('this sunset is a core memory'), funny ('my friend falling off the chair is a core memory'), or bittersweet. It's about recognizing that a moment matters.
